Making the Band Camp

Making the Band Camp redefines benchmarks for fun, learning, motivation, and teamwork. Bands produced in this camp end up staying togetherand playing, sometimes for years. Memories that keep your child reminiscingyear round about the excitement and sense of accomplishment they felt. Campers are grouped together based on their musical interests. They work with producers that in just two weeks make areal band out of them.
The bands will become the total package as we develop their sound, stage presence, performance, and pushthem to their musical limits. Each band will have its own producer, that will help each band through two or more songs to be performed at "Battle of the Bands" at the end of two weeks. The bands will compete for top prize live and in concert in front of an audience of friends and families. The winner walks away with a three-song demo of the bands original music, and year round performances.

Anyone who came to Metal Guitar camp last year will tell you. "This is boot camp for guitar players." Speed, real life playing scenarios, insane technical exercises, and participating in metalesque activities with all your metal head friends are what you can expect.

What is this thing? How do I play that? WOW. That’s a cool sound! Campers take a musical journey through all the elements and instrument of music. From the classroom to the performance room, to the recording studio, kids will see first-hand the different perspectives of musical development. Fun hands-on activities will keep kids so excited that they will want to discover with us year-round.
Studio Engineering Camp
How does Fall Out Boy make their guitar tracks so clear? How do bands get that full in your face sound from their drum tracks? What techniques do all of your favorite bands use get those amazingly warm bass guitar tones? This hands-on class is going to allow you to work along side a studio engineer and learn about all the ins and outs of a recording studio. From operating the hardware on your very own, too using your musical talents to produce recorded work this is camp you can't afford to miss. By the end of the week you'll have a song to take with you that you produced and engineered on your very own.
