General Music-The Fall 2010 Semester of General Music will focus on continuing themes of "Music in Culture." Music in culture explores the impact and incorporation of music in different societies around the world. This will include exploration of different cultures, economies, instruments, and religions.

General Music will also continue to emphasize drills and exercises that the students practice and application of reading lead sheet notation, (particularly bass clef) rhythms, form, accent markings, symbols, and general music theory.
