7:00pm-9:30pm
Open mic night at the Turnabout Cafe
Students gain invaluable performance experience with this, no rules, any one plays open mic. Enjoy coffee, smoothies, and snacks, while you enjoy the music of a wide range of GMA students.
The Turnabout Cafe is located in the stripmall at the intersection of Route four and Chaneyville Road, directly across from World Gym.
Turnabout replaces the Sunflower cafe as the community's coffee house. All Saints Church, The Garrett Music Academy, and other community partners have developed the facility to continue community work that All Saints and Garrett have been doing together since 2005. Turnabout is a place for teens and adults alike to come buy coffee and snacks from the on sight bakery, hang out, study, and play music during open mic nights on the weekends. "The most exciting part to me is that we will facilitate a job training center for people with developmental disabilities and have a regular place for music." said Garrett!
